Anne's appetite for travel and exotic places was sparked by her a spontaneous trip to India when she was 17 years old. Over the years her desire to experience different cultures of the world has continued. After attending The University of Colorado in Boulder, she spent 23 years in Kansas City building a successful Real Estate Career between adventures to distant lands. For five consecutive years prior to selling her real estate business she was awarded the most sold transactions in the Kansas City area. Among other clients she included Fannie Mae, Countrywide Home Loans, Bank of America and other major companies. Anne has always loved the Southwest and Taos, New Mexico and finally in 2000 she decided to make her move to Taos a permanent one.

Jim was raised on a small farm near Kansas City. He built his first house when he was 21 years old. Jim's desire to build quality houses has continued to grow over the years and 15 years ago he partnered with Anne and together they have contributed to each other's success both personally and professionally. Taos has offered Jim the ability to work with adobe construction and explore further the unique features of this type of construction. Jim also shares a love of travel and together they have spent considerable time abroad.
