Imagine living as the Taos Pueblo Indians have for thousands of years, but with all of the modern conveniences. Just 5 minutes north of the town of Taos and 15 minutes from Taos Ski Valley the location of Tierra Madre is unsurpassed. A day spend cruising down the slopes of Taos mountain, climbing to the top of Wheelers Peek, splashing down the Rio Grande River or just sitting in the cool shade of one of the two walled patios can be finished with a glass of wine in the secluded hot tub or nestled up to the huge kiva fireplace.

If you like to entertain this house makes it easy. The gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances flows effortlessly to the living room and dining room. From there it is only a few steps out the French doors to the private walled patio with the Jacuzzi hot tub and wild flowers.

The master bedroom is situated in its own private wing with a private door to the rear patio. The master bath features a handmade vanity ,Mexican mirrors ,and a private whirlpool tub.

Every room has thick vigas spanning the ceilings and radiant floor heat to warm the
saltillo tile floors. Hidden nichos and custom touches that grace this house add to the charm.
Every effort has been taken with the comfort of the guests in mind from down filled comforters, 7 person Jacuzzi, 2 private flag stone patios, to the expresso coffee machine.
